NH Show Morning

It was fog and mist for the morning breakfast and visual practice this morning. The corps is on a modified schedule today. They are doing a clinic after lunch for a small high school band group. Then it is warm-up for the show at 7:00. After the show, the corps will have dinner with the clinic kids and do a full Eat, Ship, Load (ESL) practice before snack at 11:15. The ESL practice is to get the sleeping area cleaned and the rookies familiar with the routine of packing up and then re-deploying their sleeping arrangement and clothing.

It was chilly last nite so Chef Ron was the star of the evening with a tasty corn-bread-topped beef stew casserole for dinner. Snack included hot chocolate, of course. This morning, we had fresh-baked corn/cheddar muffins or carrot-cake muffins and cereal or oatmeal.

Lunch today was started with a cheer as the first members to hit the line saw the home-made strombolli/calzone with pepperoni and cheese.

The weather is predicted to remain dry until 8:00 tonite when rain will again begin for the remainder of nite and early tomorrow. So with some luck, we will get to do the first public showing of Core of Temptation, the Boston Crusaders' 2009 Show. See the video trailer here.

Hi Curt, So happy to be able to follow BAC on tour again this year. Although Danny is not marching this year I just can't keep away. Can't wait to see you all at the Orlando show ! Thanks again for all you do.

Hey Curt!
Any housing sites finalized? In particular, Normal, IL on June 26th and Houston on July 16th. Thanks for any info you can get.

PS...please remind Zach (my zach) that he has yet to call home.

Hey Curt,

Wish I was up there helping, don't know what to do with myself now that I'm not making airport and Sam's runs! After watching the teaser clip, do believe I am going to be in tears at every show! These kids are so amazing.

Please give my boy a squeeze for me, he was at the hospital today with his knee. I'm so glad all you parents are up there, he can never say enough nice things about all the volunteers.

See you in Chambersburg and Annapolis!!

Curt,
I just found your blog and am BLOWN AWAY! My daughter is a new member this year in guard and I just can't believe how cool the BAC community is!! Say hi to Emma, one of the saber girls, from her mom if you can.
Thanks! You've got (another) huge fan in S. Florida!!
